NOVA DENTAL Costa Rican Medical Care congratulates Dr. Luis Obando along with Dr. Paola Truque, Dr. Manrique Fonseca and their staff for their recent accreditation.
The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) of the USA has accredited Dr. Obando's clinic in San Jose, Costa Rica, as the first ambulatory organization outside the USA to be accredited by the new AAAHC International accreditation program. The accreditation survey was conducted by a team of US based AAAHC surveyors who are active practitioners of ambulatory health care, including a dentist.
Dr. Luis Obando adds, "We offer a full-service dental clinic that specializes in cosmetic dentistry, and 95% of our customers are from the USA. The accreditation process was a lot of work to get everything together to meet the US standards, but in the end it helped to improve our clinical and administrative processes."

I do not believe I can thank you adequately for all your help and support in directing my son and I to the excellent facilities of Nova Dental. Dr. Obando, Dr. Fonseca, Dr. Truque and indeed, the clinic's entire staff are all outstanding. Truly, I could not have been more impressed with every aspect of our visit, my first to Costa Rica.
Although I am not a dentist, I'm certain I've experienced enough to recognize superior skill and expertise. Perhaps equally impressive was the amount of time spent explaining to James and me every facet of the procedures. I felt a great conscientious pride of workmanship, and the clinic's technology is amazing, beyond anything, I have experienced on either Coast or the Midwest.
I doubt there is anything in the States that would compare favorably and definitely not with the cheerful friendliness received at Nova.
Thank you again for your endless helpful emails replying to my never -ending questions. It was a great trip, a beautiful country to which I'm anxious to return.
